YouTuber and streamer ‘Fousey’ is going viral after showing off the jaw-dropping physical transformation he achieved that helped him win a bodybuilding competition.
Yousef ‘Fousey‘ Erakat is a longtime content creator best known for his comedic YouTube videos in the 2010s. In the years since then, he began live streaming, but is now fully focused on helping himself and others maintain their physical health.
While Fousey has honed his physique and gotten in peak form for influencer boxing matches in the past, his latest endeavor is turning heads across the net and earning him praise from devoted fans and casual viewers alike.
Over the last few months, Fousey’s content has largely focused on his diet and workout routines, with the creator sharing tips and tricks that help him maintain both his mental and physical health.
However, he took a break from posting in early July and didn’t return to the internet until October, when he revealed that he was preparing for his first-ever bodybuilding competition.
Fousey wows fans after sweeping bodybuilding championship
On October 18, Fousey participated in the Northern California National Championship, a natural men’s physique bodybuilding competition. These types of bodybuilding contests test athletes to ensure they haven’t taken any prohibited substances like steroids or performance-enhancing drugs.
Fousey, a 5’10” competitor, entered the Tall category, which the Natural Physique Federation defines as anyone five-ten or above.
Despite being “nervous” about hitting the stage for the first time, Fousey ended up sweeping the category, taking first place.
A grinning Fousey announced the news in a video that’s taking social media by storm, leaving viewers shocked at how drastically he transformed his body and this new path he’s taking in his career.
According to the YouTuber, this is “only the beginning” of his future in bodybuilding, something he hopes to continue in the years ahead alongside his coaching service, which he officially launched earlier this month.
“The last couple years online for me were a circus,” he wrote in a post on October 6. “I lost myself and became someone I didn’t even recognize. So I disappeared. No cameras. No attention. Just Me vs Me. And I like who came out the other side.”
