Jean Poramanove’s mom has spoken out as the autopsy results for the French star have revealed the cause of his death.
On August 17, 2025, Pormanove was found unresponsive at his home in Contes, Alpes-Maritimes, at the age of 46, following what was reported as “ten days and nights of torture” while streaming on Kick.
The French government quickly began a judicial investigation into the situation, and the streaming platform has banned the streamers involved in the controversial broadcasts.
On Thursday, August 21, Jean’s family spoke out about the streamer’s death, and autopsy results have been released.

“I was very, very proud of what my brother became,” she said in a statement. “I didn’t watch everything, but I think he shouldn’t have died like that, that he died of exhaustion. What he went through is unacceptable.”
His mom shared some words about her son as well, describing him as a man with a “big heart” in the process.
“He had brothers in Metz, but he found brothers in Nice, he was a family, he was invited everywhere,” she said.
Autopsy reveals cause of death
On Thursday, August 21, French publication BFM TV revealed the results from Jean’s autopsy.
It said: “The probable causes of death therefore appear of medical and/or toxicological origin. The absence of traumatic injuries at both the internal and external levels, in particular in the face and skull, may explain the death and absence of injuries corresponding to burns.”
However, the autopsy showed that Jean had bruises and healed lesions on the lower part of his body, mainly his legs.
