Valve co-founder Gabe Newell has taken delivery of ‘Leviathan’, a 111-meter Oceanco superyacht valued between 375 million and 535 million dollars.
The vessel, the 50th largest yacht in the world, was built in close collaboration with Newell, who also purchased Oceanco earlier this year. Oceanco CEO Marcel Onkenhout said the project followed a non-traditional process from the start and described the finished vessel as the most comfortable yacht the shipyard has produced.
One of Leviathan’s most notable engineering details is its wiring. The yacht carries around 280 miles of cabling, enough to stretch from Los Angeles to Las Vegas.

This network powers everything from its entertainment systems and satellite connectivity to its hospital, air-conditioning systems, and garages for tenders, toys, and a submarine. The yacht is also said to feature a gaming room with 15 PCs.
The owner’s suite includes a large bathroom finished with parquet flooring and ash cabinetry, according to Luxury Launches.
The yacht carries two gyms, a cinema, a dedicated drinks pantry, and a beach club of nearly 250 square meters with a bar, spa, pizza oven, and diving platforms. A full medical facility sits on board, equipped for extended voyages and staffed by a live-in nurse.
The layout was created with input from naval architects, crew, and technical teams to support scientific work and group activities. A glass panel engraved with more than 2,000 names sits in the main staircase as a record of everyone involved in the project.
