German Twitch streamer ‘Knirpz’ rode his bicycle for a jaw-dropping 300 kilometers in less than 24 hours, racking up around $3,000 USD for charity.
Charity streams and bicycling go hand-in-hand on Twitch, as yet another cycling charity stream is going viral for one broadcaster’s eye-popping feat of athleticism.
‘Knirpz’ is a German YouTuber and Twitch streamer best known for his IRL content. He’s a big fan of skiing, kayaking, and cycling — hobbies that came in handy for his latest big project.
In November 2025, Knirpz teamed up with other broadcasters for an annual charity drive called ‘LootfürdieWelt‘ (Loot for the World). Over the last ten years, Loot for the World has raised a staggering €3.5 million for nonprofits like the World Animal Protection Society, breakfast4kids, the Alzheimer Research Initiative, and many more.
Twitch streamer cycles 300 km in 24 hours to raise money for charity
The rules for this charity drive are fairly loose, and streamers can choose how they want to raise money for it. This year, Knirpz decided to ride his bicycle for 24 hours, during which time viewers could donate to the organizations chosen by Loot for the World.
That’s not all; for every 10 km he rode, Twitch promised to donate $10. To maximize the amount his stream could raise, he tried to beat his previous cycling record of 270 km in 24 hours.
On November 9, Knirpz officially crossed a total of 302.4 kilometers (roughly 186 miles), beating his former amount by 30 km (18.6 miles).
Combined with Twitch’s donations, Knirpz and his viewers managed to raise $3,020 for Loot for the World. This year, the charities benefiting from the drive are Stiftung Zukunft Wald, NCL Foundation, International Justice Mission Germany, Sentana Foundation, Civilfleet-Support, SOS Humanity, and the Loot for the World emergency relief fund.
International viewers were left stunned by the streamer’s long trip, with one writing on Reddit, “Pretty impressive. 300KM in 24 hrs is no easy feat, unless you consistently train for long distances.”
“That’s roughly 190 miles. People on here pass out doing 190 miles in a car,” another joked.
Knirpz’s cycling venture is nothing to sneeze at, as it’s just about half of the current world record for greatest distance on a bicycle in 24 hours. This record was set in July 2021 by Austrian ultra-cyclist Christoph Strasser, who rode for 1,026.215 km (637.66 miles).
Knirpz’s cycling stream joins the ranks of other cycling charity broadcasts, such as CDawgVA’s Cyclethon, where he and other English-speaking streamers living in Japan stream themselves riding bicycles to raise money for nonprofits.
