The package includes three pieces of the USB Type-A (female) to USB Type-C (male) dongles. These are USB 3.0 certified, meaning they support data transfer speeds of up to 5Gbps. These are perfect for connecting and charging your wireless headset, keyboard, mouse, card readers, or any other peripheral that still uses the older USB Type-A standard. They're also fine for connecting external storage drives although, depending on the type of drive, you may not be able to max out the drive's maximum speeds (especially if the drive uses an NVMe SSD).
The dongles don't support fast charging over Power Delivery, so they're not ideal for charging your iPhone or Nintendo Switch, although you can still charge them in an emergency albeit at a slower rate. These adapters are small so they won't protude much, and the casing is machined out of aluminum alloy. For just over $1 apiece, they're practically disposable.
