A hint about Grand Theft Auto 6’s map has been hiding in plain sight since the second trailer was revealed, and it’s given fans a better look at a key area.
At the start of May, Rockstar Games broke the hearts of GTA fans everywhere. They announced that Grand Theft Auto 6 would be delayed until May 26, 2026, citing the need for more polish to deliver at the level that fans are expecting.
They did, however, quell worries by revealing the game’s long-awaited second trailer and close to 100 new screenshots of GTA 6.
Fans have been searching through those screenshots for any potential secrets and new details, uncovering a better look at Vice City in the process. Yet, there is another that has been hiding in plain sight all along that plenty of fans have missed.
GTA 6 map has another hint you missed
The extra hint in question comesfrom a part of the Brian Heder screenshots, where the new character can be seen standing in a hangar and glaring directly at the player. Underneath him is a hand-drawn map, which some fans believe shows part of the Leonida Keys.
“Seems like the Leonida Keys will be a lot bigger than we originally thought,” one fan said. “The attention to detail in these map teases is incredible,” another said, noting that water travel could have a “much bigger role” in the new game.
“I actually noticed this but because the map is at an angle it’s really hard to notice,” another chimed in.
Some suggested that it might be a hint towards another country, given that has been a long-standing rumor for the next Grand Theft Auto.
