GTA Online is finally adding a brand-new feature just months before GTA 6 finally launches, and it’s something fans have waited over a decade for.
Grand Theft Auto 6 might be the big thing that the GTA community is waiting for, but Rockstar Games have continued to plow updates into GTA Online as well.
In recent months, the multiplayer side of GTA 5 has gotten updates in the form of Bottom Dollar Bounties, Agents of Sabotage, Oscar Guzmann Flies Again, and The Cluckin’ Bell Farm Raid – which included a new heist after all this time.
Money Fronts is the newest update to land in GTA Online, allowing fans to purchase three iconic businesses to boost their criminal empire. While you may think this is the last big update before GTA 6, think again.
GTA Online leak reveals Mansions are finally coming
Rockstar has already started teasing the annual winter update for GTA Online, which would come just a few months before GTA 6.
The big teaser for that update? The ability to finally own a mansion in the Vinewood Hills – something fans have been waiting for ever since GTA Online launched back in 2013.
It was spotted by a number of data miners, including the ever-reliable floorball, who noted that players will receive an “exclusive discount” from Prix Luxury Real Estate.
“We finally won,” one excited player said. “Maybe this is the endgame for GTA Online in Los Santos? We finally get to retire to a mansion after our years of robbing and murder,” another added. “For the final send off update this is very fitting,” another chimed in.
Rockstar have delayed the launch of GTA 6 until May 26, 2026, so they could have drip feed in store for GTA Online to last that full period.
It would be one of the biggest drip feed updates in GTA Online’s history, but it would also be quite the way to sign off.
