The viral moment took place on January 18, during the finals of the Apex Legends Global Series, which was held in Japan. During the stage presentation, Hatsune Miku appeared on screen during the live ceremony.
Video clips show the twin-tailed virtual idol lifting the ALGS trophy high into the air before carefully placing it onto the podium, much to the delight of the cheering crowd.

Miku’s appearance at the ALGS has already sparked reactions from fans, with many now calling on Respawn to release an official collab.
“Respawn, do a Miku collab, and my life is yours,” one fan wrote, while another added, “I’d lock in so much if Hatsune Miku showed up at my tournament.”
Despite the buzz and her appearance at a live tournament, EA and Respawn have not announced any Hatsune Miku-themed skins, events, or in-game content.
