Hatsune Miku is teaming with Persona 5 Royal with a newly announced Colorful Stage collab, bringing new Joker-themed cosmetics and more.
Sega has officially confirmed a collaboration between Persona 5 Royal and Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage, the hit mobile rhythm game that blends Hatsune Miku and other Vocaloid performances with original characters and storylines.
The announcement was made via Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage’s official X account on July 28, following the circulation of a leaked music video that showed Hatsune Miku performing a cover of Persona 5’s battle theme, “Life Will Change.” That track has now been formally revealed as part of the collaboration’s featured content.
Persona 5 Royal x Hatsune Miku collab announced
While full event details have not been released, Sega has confirmed the crossover will run from August 4 to August 13, 2025. During this period, players will be able to obtain limited costumes inspired by Persona 5 characters, protagonist Joker, and Violet via the game’s gacha system.
Additionally, players who log in during the event period will receive two free gifts: the avatar costume “Morgana Dress-up Costume” and the “Leblanc Curry Set” item.
This marks the first official crossover between Atlus’ Persona franchise and Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage. However, for the virtual idol, this collab is another notch in a long list of high-profile appearances across the gaming world.
She’s previously featured in titles like Fortnite, Persona 4: Dancing All Night, and Monster Hunter. It’s not just the digital world either, as she’s headlined everything from Magic: The Gathering cards to an official Asus PC.
The Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage x Persona 5 Royal event begins August 4 and will run through August 13, 2025. More details are expected to be revealed ahead of the launch.
