It’s a huge day for Harry Potter fans. The upcoming HBO TV show has found its new Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley.
The wizarding trio were originally brought to life on the big screen by Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson in the infamous movie series, which proved to be just as popular as the books – and some of the highest-grossing films of all time.
However, now it’s time to adapt the stories for a new generation, with HBO commissioning a 10-year, seven-season show, which is set to debut in 2027. In April, six key cast members were announced, including John Lithgow as Headmaster Albus Dumbledore, Paapa Essiedu as Severus Snape, and Janet McTeer as Minerva McGonagall.
But now the big guns have arrived, with three child stars set to usher in a new era and become three of the biggest stars of all time.
