I bought a lot of souvenirs at the airport when I came back to the UK from Japan. When I boarded the plane, there was an British man behind me. He was a young man. He gave a large paper bag to the woman who was a cabin crew member, saying, ‘Please eat this with everyone’. He was speaking in English.
I was curious and asked the man. 'Um... Did you just give something to them..?’ The guy said. ‘My mother also works for BA aircraft. It's a very hard work, so that was my way of saying thank you. His seat was behind me. When I arrived in the UK it was the usual grey skies, but thanks to the kind young man I was able to return home with a warm feeling.
