An Italian hotel is being overrun with reviews after ARC Raiders players discovered it has the same name as one of the game’s most infamous maps.
Hotel Stella Montis, found in the mountains of Italy’s Campitello di Fassa region, shares a name with the fifth ARC Raiders battleground — Stella Montis. This map is known for its challenging layout, close-quarters fights, and deadly enemies that can end a run in an instant, and it quickly became a popular hunting ground for PvP players and loot fiends alike.
So, when the community discovered that there’s a real-life hotel with the same name, naturally, they couldn’t resist having a bit of fun. The business has been flooded with five-star reviews on Google, praising the location, even if its guests are prone to shoot you and steal your loot.
Hotel Stella Montis is the new go-to destination for ARC Raiders fans
As spotted by ARC Raiders alerts on X, this has been going on for over a month. The first review appears to be from a user called ‘Bad Wolf,’ who wrote:
“Everything is great, really. The only issue is that players sometimes spawn just 10 meters away from me. And that Shredder of yours is an awesome thing – the style, the levels, everything is top-notch. From me it’s a solid 10 out of 10.”
This has sparked plenty of other fans to get involved, posting their own stories of their stays in Stella Montis.
“If you’re looking for a getaway that really gets the adrenaline pumping, Stella Montis is IT. I visit often, especially at night. I did find ticks in the medical ward, but they were taken care of quickly. However, the quality of their souvenirs make this an easy five star,” says one reviewer.
“I highly recommend this hotel and have made it a point to reserve an overnight stay following an exhaustive day exploring the Buried City,” adds another. “During my most recent visit, I was fortunate to discover a Wolfpack while searching through drawers in the lobby area — a delightful surprise.”
Some have even joined in over on TripAdvisor, with one user posting: “Amazing atmosphere, good solo or with squad. The blueprints and general make of the place is awesome. It feels like I have a private key to every room.”
Nearly all the reviews have been glowing, falling within the four or five-star range, but others have left less positive write-ups. The most common complaints are “rats” camping near the extraction and PvP that’s too “aggressive.”
However, these negative reviews are few and far between, and most players have opted to leave high scores, resulting in Hotel Stella Montis maintaining a solid 4.7 overall score on Google.
