Alien: Earth is a new TV show that extends the Alien mythology in unexpected ways. Should the series crossover with another great sci-fi franchise, here’s how the cast think their characters would behave if a Predator crossed their paths.
It’s a great time to be a fan of Alien and Predator. The latter series expanded with acclaimed animated movie Killer of Killers earlier this year, while Predator: Badlands is about to hit cinema screens.
Between those releases, Alien: Earth is putting xenomoprhs on the small screen for the very first time, via a series that takes place two years before the events of the original Alien.
That means there’s the potential for movie characters to appear in future seasons of the show. While it’s also got us speculating over another potential crossover.
Alien: Earth cast is keen to meet a Predator
We spoke to three stars of Alien: Earth, only one of whom is fully human. Babou Ceesay plays Morrow, a cybernetically enhanced ‘cyborg.’ Timothy Olyphant is Kirsh, an artificially enhanced ‘synth.’ While Sam Blenkin is a billionaire called Boy Kavalier, though his thirst for knowledge and power makes him seem a little less than human at times.
When we asked about coming face-to-face with a Predator, Ceesay says, “Morrow would relish it I think,” adding that he reckons the character would have a “deep fascination” with the warrior race.
Olyphant then looks to the actors either side of him and says of their collective characters, “Same, right?”
While Blenkin concurs, adding: “I think oddly enough, we’d all be delighted. I’d probably introduce myself as ‘Hi, I’m Boy Kavalier!’”
So if these Alien characters get a Predator crossover, expect a cordial affair, as cyborg, synth, and bonkers billionaire size up the trophy-hunters.
