We’re all getting older yet Stranger Things Season 5 is still on the horizon. You might have lost track of just how old everyone was when we last saw them, so we’ve done the hard work for you.
Halfway into 2025 and we still don’t have a set release date for the final installment of Stranger Things. To put that into perspective, we’ll have had four seasons of The Bear since we last stepped foot in Hawkins.
In that time, our stars have changed beyond our wildest beliefs. Millie Bobby Brown is now happily married, our older cohort are entering their thirties, and our youngest have started to graduate from high school.
But how old were they all in Season 4, and how could their real ages affect how they appear in Stranger Things Season 5? (Hint: they might be using de-ageing technology).
Millie Bobby Brown – Eleven
Millie Bobby Brown was born February 19, 2004, making her 21 years old. In Stranger Things Season 4, Eleven is 15 years old.
Finn Wolfhard – Mike
Finn Wolfhard was born December 23, 2002, making him 22 years old. In Season 4, Mike Wheeler is 15 years old.
Noah Schnapp – Will
Noah Schnapp was born on October 3, 2004, making him 20 years old. In Season 4, Will Byers is 15 years old.
Gaten Matarazzo – Dustin
Gaten Matarazzo was born September 8, 2002, making him 22 years old. In Season 4, Dustin is 15 years old.
Caleb McLaughlin – Lucas
Caleb McLaughlin was born October 13, 2001, making him 23 years old. In Stranger Things Season 4, Lucas is 15 years old.
Natalia Dyer – Nancy
Natalia Dyer was born January 13, 1995, making her 30 years old. In Season 4, Nancy Wheeler is at least 19 years old.
Joe Keery – Steve
Joe Keery was born April 24, 1992, making him 33 years old. In Season 4, Steve is 20 years old.
Charlie Heaton – Jonathan
Charlie Heaton was born February 6, 1994, making him 31 years old. In Season 4, Jonathan is 19 years old.
Priah Ferguson – Erika
Priah Ferguson was born October 1, 2006, making her 18 years old. Erika is 11 years old in Stranger Things Season 4.
Sadie Sink – Max
Sadie Sink was born April 16, 2002, making her 23 years old. In Season 4, Max is 15 years old.
Dacre Montgomery – Billy
Dacre Montgomery was born November 22, 1994, making him 30 years old. In Season 4 of Stranger Things, Billy is 19 years old.
Maya Hawke – Robin
Maya Hawke was born July 8, 1998, making her 26 years old. Maya’s character Robin is still in school in Season 4, making her around 18 years old.
Winona Ryder – Joyce
Winona Ryder was born October 29, 1971, so is 53 years old. Joyce Byers is likely in her early 40s in Season 4.
David Harbour – Hopper
David Harbour was born April 10, 1975, so is 50 years old. Jim Hopper is likely in his early 40s in Stranger Things Season 4.
Eduardo Franco – Argyle
Eduardo Franco was born August 29, 1994, making him 30 years old. In Season 4, Argyle is likely the same age as Jonathan, so around 19 years old.
Joseph Quinn – Eddie
Joseph Quinn was born January 26, 1994, making him 31 years old. Eddie’s age is never specified in Season 4 but it’s likely that he is around 21, given that he failed the final year of school more than once.
As for Stranger Things Season 5, Netflix has promised it’ll be out in 2025. Fingers crossed that we’ll have an exact release date soon.
