A brand new Disney Dreamlight Valley event has landed. This time, it’s celebrating all things spooky for Halloween. Naturally, you can bag yourself some exclusive rewards, but you’ll need to solve some puzzles first.
Disney Dreamlight Valley is no stranger to a good event, whether it’s the other Halloween event, Trick or Treat, or the Christmas ones that have players creating their own Snowman. A lot of these are repeating, so they come back each year, but this year, DDV has introduced a brand new adventure, all taking place on a Floating Island.
The Haunted Floating Festival boasts tons of exclusive rewards, puzzles, and, of course, a new themed floating island for you to explore during the event. So, to make sure you don’t miss a thing, here’s all you need to know about the Haunted Floating Festival in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
The Haunted Floating Festival takes place from October 22 and will end on November 11, meaning you have just under three weeks to solve all the puzzles and grab those rewards.
How to take part
To take part, you’ll need to locate the portal in the Plaza. It’s just opposite the Forgetting portal. Or, you can head to the events tab and click teleport.
Once you do this, you’ll be transported to a spooky island. It’s here that you’ll be given multiple puzzles to solve.
How to solve all puzzles
Ghostly Critter Puzzle
On the island you’ll spot a ghostly fox… Zero. Zero is explained to be a little hungry, so you need to feed him his favorite food.
His favorite food is a Haunted Skeleton Fish, which is found around his grave. You’ll need to feed him four times to complete the memory, as he’ll drop one fragment each time.
When you’ve completed the memory, head to the Haunted Mansion Hearse and use your shovel to dig for the Clawed Foot Tub.
Combination Pillar Puzzle
The next puzzle has a lot to do with the weathered pillars marked with numbers. There are four tiles marked with a motif scattered around the island, so you need to place each motif beneath the correct number:
- Web
- Bat
- Witch Hat
- Cat
When you complete this, you’ll get hold of a Haunted Festival Dress.
Terror-rific Tree Puzzle
Lastly is the tree. Get closer to the howling tree, and you’ll find you need to offer it various items in order to solve the mystery.

Once you’ve fed the tree the items, you’ll receive a Terror-rific Tree.
