How to complete Disney Dreamlight Valley Haunted Well puzzle

Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Halloween event has finally landed, adding a brand new and rather complicated Haunted Well Puzzle.

It wouldn’t be DDV without some puzzles. After all, you need to figure out the ingredients for all the game’s recipes, solve mysteries with many of the characters, and explore Duties, most of which have clues as names and nothing else.

Well, alongside the Trick or Treat event and all its tasks, a brand new challenge has been added, the Haunted Well. If you complete the puzzle, you’ll get the item as a furniture reward, but that puzzle isn’t easy — unless you have the solution, which is thankfully below.

Haunted Well puzzle solution

To solve the Haunted Well puzzle, you’ll need to find the red chest in the Plaza. We found it northeast of the biome.

When you find it, interact with the chest and pick up the purple memory orb. This will reveal a clue (which is below) and will instruct you to head over to the Forest of Valor and find the Haunted Well.

We found the Well on the north-east side of the biome again, just under the Frosted Heights.

The clue in question is below. If you’d prefer to work it out yourself, then this is all you need. If you want the answers, they’re just under it.

To work it out, you need to figure out what number each Green, Red, and Purple Candy represents. It’s a lot of math, which is why we’ll save you that and say the answers are: 15 Green, 10 Red, 5 Purple.

So, you need that number of Candy, found in buckets around the Plaza. When you’ve collected all of those, put them into the Well, and you’ll get the item as a furniture reward.
