On the surface, Date Everything might be a wild dating sim where you fall in love with your furniture, but that doesn’t mean it’s not got a few hidden items (and dateables) for you to uncover.

All together, there are 100 different characters to unlock in Date Everything, from your floor to the literal air. These are all dotted around your house (no touching grass required). But finding them is one of the main battles you’ll face, as well as naturally falling in love or making friends. Hating is oddly easy to do.

If you’ve dated your kitchen, living room, office, and pretty much every room in your house, then you’re likely wondering, ‘Where do I find these remaining characters?’ Well, my thirsty fellow, you’ll find them in the attic. But for that, you need a key.

If you’ve come across that mysterious door on the second floor that can’t be opened. That’s the Attic.

1. Find the Crawlspace

To get into it, you’ll need to find the silver key in the Crawlspace, which is part of Beau (the boxes) questline. You don’t have to speak to her to start it, but it helps, as it’ll keep that story going nicely.

Regardless, head over to your office on the bottom floor and look for the closed door by your desk. Open that up, head inside, and turn off your glasses. Then, click on the rug lying on the floor. This will peel back, revealing a trap door.

2. Look for the Silver Key in the Crawlspace

Interact with it, climb down, and revel in the new items you can romance. But, before you use up all your five charges, you’ll find a silver key lying just between the right hand side of the ladder and a pillar. Put your Dateviators back on and romance that key.

You’ll meet Keith, who will tell you he’s a skeleton key and can open the attic.

3. Interact with the Attic door

So, put him in your pocket, head up to the door, and interact with it. You’ll chat with a rather…charged Dorian and Keith, who will eventually open up the attic for you.

Once in there, you’ll find multiple new dateables. We suggest chatting to the board games. Fans of Dimension 20, Critical Role, or just DnD may recognise them.

(Spoilers, it’s Brennan Lee Mulligan).
