How to get Baby Groot in Fortnite
Baby Groot will be available directly through the Item Shop in Fortnite. He is not tied to quests, challenges, or Battle Pass progression.
Pricing has not been confirmed, but previous sidekicks give a solid estimate. The SpongeBob sidekick launched as a standalone cosmetic priced around 800 to 1,200 V-Bucks, with bundle options pushing higher, so Baby Groot is expected to fall in a similar range.
Once purchased, Baby Groot can be equipped as a sidekick through the Locker, just like any other cosmetic.
This Baby Groot is separate from the older Baby Groot back bling introduced in Chapter 2 Season 4. That version was quest-based, while this is a brand-new companion.
