How to get Gorgofex Wonder Weapon in Black Ops 6 Zombies Reckoning

If you want to complete the Reckoning and see the end of the Black Ops 6 Zombies story, you’ll need to find the Gorgofex Wonder Weapon.

Black Ops 6 Season 5 is underway, bringing with it the final Zombies map — Reckoning. Not only does this give fans a brand-new Easter egg to work through, but it also marks the end of the story that began with Terminus and Liberty Falls.

As always, the map also introduces a new Wonder Weapon that plays a key role in completing the quests. So here’s how to get the Gorgofex and all of its variants.

How to unlock Gorgofex on Reckoning map

The first thing you need to do to get your hands on the new Wonder Weapon is activate the Pack-a-Punch machine, which you can do by following the main objective markers as soon as the game starts. From there, head to Tower 1 Mutant Research Lab, where you can start the process.

Check the two monitors displayed on the screen.
These will flash with two words occasionally, make a note of the first letter of each word.
The letters will join together to make an element on the periodic table, which can be checked using the poster on the wall in the lab.
Find the right element and make a note of its three-digit atomic number. If the number is only two digits, put a zero at the start.
Enter the number into the keypad to open the Bioweapons Lab.

Bioweapons Lab

Inside the Bioweapons Lab, you’ll see a mysterious alien cyst inside a container, which also happens to be a Soul Box. The goal now is to fill it up by killing Vermin.

They spawn regularly while in this room, so simply lead them close to the cyst and kill them. You’ll know if it’s worked when a yellow essence appears above it.

After you’ve successfully sacrificed a few Vermin, do the same with regular zombies. Once full, you can interact with it to pick it up.

Quantum Computing Core

Once this is done, head over to the Quantum Computing Core, where you’ll need to charge the cyst once again. This time, all you need to do is stand underneath the three yellow spores until the bar on the left of the screen is empty.

Dark Entity Containment

The next step is to go to Dark Entity Containment and trigger the power surge. To do this, you need to activate all four of the computer terminals, which you’ll find if you start at the one closest to the main door and run around the room clockwise.

This will spawn in an Uber Klau, after which you need to do the following:

Take it down to low health, but don’t kill it.
- This can be done by focusing on the shoulder pads.
When on low health, lure onto the surge panels in front of The Forsaken.
The Forsaken will then transfer itself into the Uber Klaus, triggering a boss fight.
Take down the boss, and you’ve got yourself the Gorgofex.

Doing all of this gets you the base Gorgofex, which can’t be Pack-a-Punched. However, if you want to upgrade it, you can do so by claiming one of the variants.

How to upgrade Gorgofex in BO6 Zombies

There are two upgraded versions of the Gorgofex you can unlock, Gorgofex C or Gorgofex N. Both are earned through a brief quest, but once you’ve started one, the other will be locked.

Gorgofex C

The Gorgofex C isn’t just more powerful, but you’ll also be able to upgrade it at the Pack-a-Punch machine. Having this variant is also required to get the ‘canon’ ending of the Easter egg, where the final boss fight is against S.A.M.

Head to the T1 Executive Suite.
Talk to Blanchard.
Go into T1 Project Janus Reception and hit the red button.
This turns off one of the elevators.
Go to T1 Quantum Computing Core and jump down the shaft.
Interact with all three red buttons you spot on the way down, which then teleports you back into the room.
Zombies with a blue aura around them will spawn, kill them with the Gorgofex.
When they’re all gone, Panos will appear in the middle of the room.
Interact with him to claim Gorgofex C.

Gorgofex N

Again, this allows you to Pack-a-Punch the Wonder Weapon, only this time it unlocks an alternate ending where you fight Richtofen instead of S.A.M.

Head to the T1 Executive Suite.
Talk to Blanchard.
Go to the terminal in T1 Quantum Computing Core and take the Strauss Counter.
Find the following four items:
- Life Drain Serum: Use Strauss Counter to find it and shoot using Gorgofex charge shot.
- PC Fan: Dark Entity Containment.
- Tubing: T1 Quantum Computing Lab.
- Clean Hood: T1 Bioweapons Lab.
Head back to Blanchard in T1 Executive Suite and build the Essence Extractor.
When done, put the Life Drain Serum into the machine, triggering a lockdown.
Once Blanchard’s life has been drained, pick up the vial and head back to T1 Bioweapons Lab.
Interact with the machine where you found the cyst to get the original Gorgofex.
Wait for the bar to fill up, and the N variant is yours.
