Animal Crossing: New Horizons’ 3.0 update has finally landed, bringing exciting new content and characters to the game. So, while you’re grabbing your favorite Zelda items, you may want to meet up with Resetti.
Many Animal Crossing fans may remember Resetti from previous games. Sure, back then, he wasn’t particularly kind to many players, often shouting at them for various reasons. But now, in New Horizons, it seems he’s found a way to be a little calmer, helping players reset their designs for a small fee.
However, this isn’t instantly available in the new update. Instead, you need to unlock Resetti and know how to use his Reset Services. So, here’s all you need to know.
Resetti location
You’ll find Resetti wandering around your island, just like all the other guests. When you see him, speak to him, and he’ll explain a little about his Reset Service.
Once you’ve been introduced, he’ll disappear in the coming days. However, you’ll have access to a transceiver, which lets you call on Resetti to help you clean up certain areas of your island.
It’s worth noting that the first day is free, so we recommend you cash in on this, as it gets expensive after that.
How to use Resetti’s Reset Service
Once you’ve got Resetti, you’ll need to speak to Isabelle in the Resident Services. When you do, you’ll need to pay 60,000 Bells, which will offer you a full day of resetting around the island.
From there, you can choose either the entire island, the beach, or a specific location. If you choose a specific location, you’ll need to use the transceiver in the place you want to reset. Select Call Him Over and confirm the reset.
With that, he’ll instantly clear the island of the following things:
- Furniture
- Ladders
- Items
- Flowers
- Bugs
Essentially, Resetti will clear everything but trees, vegetables, and weeds from your chosen location. With that, you have a clear space to work with.
