With over 100 characters in Date Everything, finding and getting the right ending with your favorite object can be pretty tricky, especially with Mac.
While you can date the toaster, your safe, and a literal shadow in Date Everything, few come close to Mac, the adorable representation of your PC. However, while they may know everything you do on your computer (in the game, not real life, don’t worry), actually getting your chosen ending isn’t that easy with Mac.
They’re pretty set on falling in love with you, and it can be tough to get any other ending. So, if you’re looking to fall in love with your PC or just make friends, or hate them, here’s all you need to know.
Where to find Mac
Mac is the personification of the computer, so you’ll find them in your office.
Use your Dateviators on the computer screen, keyboard, or the PC tower underneath your desk, and you’ll be able to speak to Mac.
Mac redesign explained
If you’ve played Date Everything from the moment it released, then you may start to spot something a little different about Mac – they’ve been redesigned.
Initially, they were in a wheelchair with a high back and no handles on the wheels. Shortly after release, fans shared their frustration with this design, explaining that the wheelchair they sat in was closer to a medical wheelchair rather than an everyday-use chair. To many fans’ appreciation, the developers quickly redesigned.
Mac’s original design (left) and new design (right) have been showcased below:
The redesign will be coming soon in an update, according to the character artist, and should be implemented soon.
How to get all endings
Just like every character in Date Everything, Mac has three different possible endings: Love, Friend, or Hate. Each can be achieved by giving different responses, so, depending on the ending you want, you’ll need to be careful when choosing your answers.
Regardless of the ending, once you complete Mac’s story, you’ll get an increase in your S.P.E.C.S., namely, an increase of five in your Smarts.
Love ending
Getting a Love ending with Mac is incredibly easy; all you need to do is respond favorably to all their advances. Whenever they hit on you, accept the advances and flirt back at every opportunity.
Mac’s pretty open to love from the beginning, so just focus on updating them, respond flirtatiously, and you’ll be in love in no time.
There is a moment after the OS update when Mac will ask for some time alone, grant them this and come back later. They’ll explain that they did see others at that time but would like to be with you, accept their request, and you’ll be deeply in love with your PC.

Friend ending
As mentioned above, Mac comes into the conversation with love on their mind, so to get a Friend ending, you’ll need to politely shut any romance lines down. If they’re getting a bit flirtatious, don’t be afraid to hit them with a ‘buddy’ or a ‘thanks’, without any hint at romance.
Keep being kind, refute any flirtations, and when they ask about a relationship, or an open relationship, politely decline, and you’ll remain friends.

Hate ending
Given Mac is so interested in love, getting them to hate you isn’t easy. However, it’s not too tricky to know the right things to say… or rather the mean things.
Just keep being rude to them as often as you can. Refuse to delete your fanfiction, decline their upgrade, and decline any requests for romance. If you think an option is rude, select it; they’ll hate you soon enough.
