If you’ve been exploring Disney Dreamlight Valley and completing quests, you may have wondered what comes after the big story moments.
With Mysteries of Skull Rock finally here, both The Forgotten and Peter Pan are ready to be welcomed into your Valley — but only if you’ve been keeping up. Unlocking The Forgotten is one of the most exciting milestones in the game, especially for those who’ve followed the story from the beginning.
But if you’re not sure what steps to take or which quests are essential to unlock The Forgotten in DDV, we’ve got you covered with a rundown of what to do.
How to unlock The Forgotten
Before you can unlock The Forgotten, you must complete all the main storyline quests, including those in the late game:
Once you’ve completed them, you’ll then want to make sure you’ve installed the Mysteries of Skull Rock update. You’ll need to wait a while once it’s downloaded before their quest comes up, though, as we had to wait 45 minutes for it to arrive.
Once that’s all been done, a new quest called “The Forgotten Name” will appear in your quest log. In The Forgotten Name, you’ll have to speak to the Forgotten, head to Skull Rock, and give them a new name. This concludes the recruiting process.
Let’s go step by step:
- Look around your Valley. We found them near the Plaza, but they may appear in different areas.
- Talk to them; they’ll mention a feather they found near Skull Rock and ask for help investigating it.
- Head to Skull Rock by travelling to Dazzle Beach and crossing over to Skull Rock cave.
- Once there, they’ll meet you at the cave.
- You’ll be prompted to choose a name for The Forgotten.
After naming them, a heartwarming cutscene plays, officially welcoming them to your Valley as a new villager.
