Every few months, Nintendo holds a live-streamed event where it reveals what is coming for fans to enjoy.

Sometimes it’s focused around first-party titles like Donkey Kong Bananza, or a new console like the Switch 2 Direct we had back in April.

This new live stream is focused on games coming from Nintendo’s publishing partners, like Team Cherry or Gearbox. Here’s everything we know about the Direct, including how to watch it and when it’s taking place.

How to Watch Nintendo’s July Partner Direct

The Nintendo Partner Direct will take place on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at 6 AM PT/9 AM ET/2 PM BST. And will be livestreamed on the company’s YouTube page.

What to expect

It’s hard to tell what Nintendo will announce during this partner direct, but there are a few things that fans are expecting during this event.

First would be news around Hollow Knight: Silksong. We received a short clip of the game earlier this year with a 2025 release date, but Team Cherry has been quiet since then. With them bringing a playable demo to Xbox’s Gamescom booth, it’s safe to say we should hear more from the developers soon.
