Welcome to Wrexham has been little short of a sensation. The soccer doc kicked off with movie star Ryan Reynolds and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia mastermind Rob McElhenney buying Welsh football club Wrexham AFC, they trying to turn the team’s fortunes around.
Across three seasons, viewers have seen the ups and downs of footballing life, both on and off the pitch. While since Hollywood arrived, the club’s rise has been meteoric, being promoted to the football league, then rising up through the divisions in Season 2 and Season 3.
Wrexham is returning for a fourth season on FX/Hulu in the US, and Disney+ in the UK, with full viewing details below…
Where to watch Welcome to Wrexham Season 4
The first two episodes of Welcome to Wrexham drop on FX on May 15, 2025 in the US. The show then arrives on Hulu a day later.
If you’re in the UK, Welcome to Wrexham starts streaming on Disney+ on May 16, 2025, again via the first two episodes.
The start of the series sees Wrexham coping with the club’s first season in League One for nearly two decades, playing against opponents that are superior to any they’ve faced since the series began.
Welcome to Wrexham release schedule
Season 3 of Welcome to Wrexham kicked off with a two-episode premiere followed by weekly drops, so expect Season 4 to follow the same pattern. Meaning the release schedule should look like this:

As ever, Season 4 focusses on owners Ryan and Rob, the players and coaching staff, and the loyal supporters as Wrexham AFC competes for another promotion.
