Well, EA has done just that, capitalizing on the fact that Battlefield 6 is just two months away and offering players with that BF hole in their hearts a much improved, and extremely cheap adventure while they wait.
Sure, it may not have received tons of love, but EA has been hard at work improving the experience over the last few years, and is even offering over 30 exclusive rewards for Battlefield 6. After all, under $3 isn’t that bad for those rewards.
Battlefield 2042 gets massive discount on Steam
Currently, Battlefield 2042 has a major discount on Steam, coming in at only $2.99, which is an impressive 95% off from its $59.99 original price.
This is part of a special promotion that ends on September 2, so you’ll have to be fast if you want to try out the most recently released Battlefield for cheap.
As mentioned above, Battlefield 2042 didn’t exactly receive a great reception when it originally came out. But since then, EA has produced tons of updates for it, fixing every map and clawing back a rather steady playerbase. As such, there’s often upwards of 30,000 players at any one time.
