VTuber Ironmouse has revealed that she has been an “emotional mess” over her drama with Vshojo, and wasn’t sure if she’d make a comeback.
On July 21, VTuber Ironmouse announced that she would be ending her long-standing relationship with VShojo. She claimed that the org hadn’t paid The Immune Deficiency Foundation around $500,000 from her viral charity subathon.
Ironmouse’s exit not only prompted a massive wave of donations for the charity – to which she has since raised $1m – but also saw a number of VTubers also quit VShojo as well. That included Kson, who had been live with the company’s CEO at the time.
The VTuber, who hadn’t been live on Twitch in over a week before the drama kicked off, returned on July 23 to address everything.
Ironmouse reveals she’s been an “emotional mess”
In that return stream, Ironmouse revealed she had been ‘bed-rotting’ over everything that had gone on, admitting she wasn’t sure if she’d ever return.
“I was not sure when I was going to stream again because I’ve been an emotional mess. It’s been a very difficult time for me. This is the longest break that I’ve ever taken from streaming since I started streaming a long time ago,” she told viewers, noting she used to take breaks “all the time,” but this is the “longest” she’s been gone.
“You missed me? I missed you guys, too! I missed you guys so much! I was just, like, I think for a few days, I didn’t even talk. I didn’t even say a word. I was like, you know, bed-rotten. I wish I could say I was getting work done, but I was not. I have not been able to do anything. You know?”
Ironmouse noted that she “cannot say anything more” than what is already in her video on the drama.
“The second I am able to speak and say what I want to say, I will say whatever I have to say. I will say everything that I can when I’m able to,” the VTuber added.
