Does Netflix have another Physical: 100 spinoff in the works? Physical: Asia star Eddie Williams has opened up about the possibility of Physical: Pacific.

Physical: Asia is Netflix’s first Physical: 100 spinoff series, and the first two parts of the show have been met with plenty of praise over the new challenges and all the new contestants. It includes teams from Japan, Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, Turkey, Mongolia, Philippines, and Australia as they battle it out in immense tests of strength to prove which nation is the strongest.

Aside from the bragging rights, the teams are also fighting to win a share of ₩1 billion Korean won, which is roughly $700,000. It’s a significant increase from Physical: 100’s $245,000 prize money, which proves the franchise is getting bigger.

The teams are made up of professional athletes of all disciplines, from boxers like Manny Pacquiao and Superbon to parkour experts like Dom Tomato. But Team Australia’s strongman Eddie Williams touched on whether Netflix is working on another spinoff… Physical: Pacific.

Eddie Williams “can’t say no” about the possibility of Physical: Pacific

Williams held a Q&A session on Instagram after the first two parts of Physical: Pacific arrived on Netflix, and fans asked if there’s going to be a Physical: Pacific spinoff focusing on Pacific nations like Australia, New Zealand, Samoa, Fiji, Papa New Guinea, and more.

“I can’t say no, because they might want to see that. It depends on what Korea does, it’s their licensing and their show. So yeah, it depends on what they want to film,” he said.

The first two seasons of Physical: 100 were successful enough to greenlight Physical: Asia, so it’s not impossible that Netflix and the rights holders in Korea will consider another slice of the Physical pie. Speaking of food, Williams also gave fans a peek behind the show’s curtain and explained what happens between the gruelling quests.

“It was never the same. It would be on, it would be off, it would be on. You just had to be ready. We had our waiting rooms with snacks galore, we had mattresses and everything,” he explained. “I’m telling you, we got spoiled. We were looked after. Korea is awesome.”
