IShowSpeed turns childhood favorite chips into official Doritos flavor in new Flavor Swap line

Streaming star IShowSpeed is partnering with Pepsico Foods to unleash his very own Flavor Swap chips, putting Ruffles’ Cheddar & Sour Cream flavor on Doritos in a brand-new combo.

IShowSpeed is taking his online fame to new heights in an exciting partnership with Pepsico Foods, snagging his very own chip flavor for the brand’s upcoming ‘Flavor Swap’ line.

Flavor Swap chips take a flavor from one type of chip (think Cheetos or Ruffles) and put it on another (like Doritos, for example) for a unique combination of texture and taste that Pepsico has never done before.

Speed chose to combine the flavor of Ruffles’ Cheddar & Sour Cream with Doritos’ chips, a combo he loves so much that he ate an entire bag.

We got the chance to speak with Speed about his Flavor Swap chips in an exclusive interview, where he explained how he decided on this particular flavor combo.

“The more I thought about it, I was like, ‘You know what? What were my two favorite chips growing up? What are the chips that I always went to the corner store with my friends and what did I always used to buy?’ And I remembered, I used to always get the cheddar cheese Ruffles and the Doritos,” he said.

“So I was just like, ‘Okay, we got the two of my [favorite] chips. You know what, let’s just do something crazy. Let’s just combine them.’ I just said it, I combined them. It took around about three to four tries to get to it [right], but we came up with the final product and I think everybody should try it. It’s such a good chip.”

In fact, Speed likes the combo so much that he literally ate an entire bag of his own Flavor Swap chips.

“I think about two to three days ago, I found myself eating like a whole bag of chips. They [Pepsico] sent me like 10 bags, and I just ate like the whole bag,” he told us.

IShowSpeed is one of two other creator groups getting his own Flavor Swap chip flavor; TikTok star and music artist Madison Beer put Lay’s Sweet Southern Heat Barbeque on Cheetos, while YouTube group Dude Perfect put Doritos’ Cool Ranch on Ruffles chips.
