Not everyone can afford a new gaming PC that costs over $1,000. With prices of graphics cards dropping back down to reasonable levels, it's now possible to find a very capable gaming PC that can play all of the latest games for well under that amount. Walmart, for example, has a couple of prebuilt gaming PCs rocking the current generation GeForce RTX 5060 graphics card starting at just $749 with free delivery.
The GeForce RTX 5060 GPU is a great choice for 1080p
The RTX 5060 graphics card is a great value option for playing the newest (and upcoming) games at 1080p. Compared to the previous generation GPUs, the RTX 5060 performs about 15% better than the RTX 4060. It will run most games at 1080p with framerates of up to 60fps, although you may have to scale back to medium settings in very demanding titles. Like all Blackwell GPUs, the RTX 5060 supports DLSS 4 with multi-frame generation, and the performance improvement over the 4060 widens significantly in games that support it, including Doom: The Dark Ages, Clair Obscur, Borderlands 4, and the upcoming Battlefield 6.
