先週の月曜日にスーパーに行きました。パンと、牛乳と、肉と、野菜を買いました。それから、カップラーメンを2つ買いました。子どもにあげました。
Last Monday I went to the supermarket. I bought bread, milk, meat and vegetables. Then I bought two cup noodles. I gave them to my children.
スーパーに日清のカップヌードルがたくさんありました。でも、私の好きなやつはありませんでした。私は普通のカップヌードルが一番好きです。
There were many Nissin Cup Noodles in the supermarket. But there were none that I liked. I like regular cup noodles the best.
火曜日の朝、友達と公園に行きました。バラの花が咲いていました。公園にいろいろな種類のバラがあります。どれもきれいでした。
On Tuesday morning, I went to the park with my friend. Roses were in bloom. There are many different kinds of roses in the park. They were all beautiful.
水曜日から金曜日までは仕事が忙しかったです。でも、金曜日の夜にレストランに行きました。中華料理のレストランで、野菜炒めと、水餃子と、焼き餃子を食べました。
I was busy with work from Wednesday to Friday. But on Friday night we went to a restaurant. I had stir-fried vegetables, boiled dumplings and fried dumplings at a Chinese restaurant.
土曜日は朝、仕事をしてから、午後はロンドンのテムズ川の近くを散歩しました。夜、ローストビーフを作りました。おいしかったです。
On Saturday, I worked in the morning and then went for a walk near the River Thames in London in the afternoon. In the evening, I cooked roast beef. It was delicious.
日曜日に買い物に行きました。インテリアショップでお皿がセールだったので5枚買いました。前から、カレーやパスタを盛り付ける少し深いお皿が欲しかったんです。
On Sunday we went shopping. I bought five plates from an interior design shop because they were on sale. I always wanted slightly deep plates for serving curry and pasta.
もう一つ、前から買おうと思ってるものがあって、それはロースト料理のソース、グレイビーを入れる入れ物です。でもシンプルなものは意外と買うのが難しいし、なくても困らないから買わずに済ませてしまいます。この日も買えませんでした。今年のクリスマスまでにはネットでシンプルな白いやつ買おうと思います。この入れ物は英語で「グレイビーボート」と言うみたいです。かわいい名前ですね。
There is one more thing I've been thinking of buying for a while: a pot for gravy, the sauce for roast dishes. But simple things are surprisingly difficult to buy, and even if I don't have it, I'm fine without them, so I end up not buying them. I couldn't buy it that day either. I will buy a simple white one online before Christmas this year. This container seems to be called a “gravy boat” in English. It's a cute name.
