In a YouTube video with vlogger Mike Majlak, American rapper and singer Jelly Roll revealed his plans to build a massive rehabilitation center to treat drug addicts free of charge.

Jelly Roll is a popular American music artist best known for his hit 2022 singles ‘Son of a Sinner’ and ‘Need a Favor,’ often cited as an inspiring figure among fans due to his recovery from drug use and criminal activity.

After being incarcerated for drug use and aggravated robbery, Jelly Roll got inspired by rappers like Three 6 Mafia and UGK. He started selling mixtapes out of his car and turned his life around, eventually finding fame after the pandemic.

Thanks to his newfound success in the music biz, Jelly Roll was able to purchase 500 acres of land near Nashville, Tennessee, where he’s built his own ‘compound’ to house himself and his friends when they go hunting.

He plans on turning 100 acres of that land into a drug rehabilitation center, which he admitted in a conversation with YouTuber, author, and former addict Mike Majlak during his visit with the artist.

“On the other side of the creek… I’m gonna develop a 100-acre rehabilitation campus, for free,” Jelly Roll told the influencer. “Imagine drug addicts like us, poor kids, when we were just f**kin’ down, when life was kicking our ass. Now, think about the resources that we have.

“We’ll have a traditional 28-day, 12-step style, but then we’ll have intensive programs, as well for therapy and mental health,” he continued, encouraging Majlak to become a guest speaker at the campus to share his own recovery journey.

“We went through hell so a lot of people might not have to,” Majlak said.

The wholesome moment earned a lot of praise from viewers, with many thanking the artist for helping those who can’t afford to attend recovery programs amid their battles with addiction.

Mike Majlak has also been open about his own journey with drug use, which he chronicled in his memoir, ‘The Fifth Vital.’

This is the latest moment from Jelly Roll to go viral after he collaborated with Dunkin’ Donuts in 2024 to celebrate National Donut Day by giving him his very own donut flavor.
