Jenna Marbles and her husband Julien Solomita are preparing to say goodbye to their longtime pet, Mr. Marbles.

During Twitch stream on November 10, Solomita opened up about the couple’s 17-year-old Chihuahua, explaining that the dog is nearing the end of his life. While gaming with friends, he took a moment to speak directly to viewers about how difficult the situation has been.

“I didn’t want to make a whole thing about it at the start of the stream, but I’m mentally not fully here lately,” he said. “Marbles is getting really old. We’re dealing with end-of-life things… It’s sort of been all-consuming on top of all the things we have going on.”

The longtime creator told fans he was struggling emotionally and didn’t have much energy, saying, “I know a lot of you have dealt with losing pets and end-of-life care for your pets… I sort of feel like I’m not even here.”

“I don’t want to sit here, because if I talk about it, I’m just going to cry, and I don’t want to sit here and cry about it right now,” he continued. “The whole thing is hard, and you’re never really prepared for something like this.”

Viewers quickly flooded the chat with messages of support, sharing hearts and words of comfort.

Mr. Marbles, who turned 17 on June 6, 2025, has long been a fan-favorite among followers of Marbles and Solomita. The Chihuahua was featured heavily throughout Jenna Marbles’ YouTube career, even inspiring her online alias. His name originated from a Seinfeld episode called “The Chicken Roaster,” referencing a ventriloquist dummy that Jerry feared would come to life.

Jenna Marbles, born Jenna Mourey, rose to fame on YouTube in 2010 through comedy sketches and makeup videos, amassing over 20 million subscribers and 2 billion views before stepping away from the platform in June 2020.

After nine years together, Solomita confirmed that the two had married in December 2022, sharing photos of their wedding day that included a shot of Mr. Marbles in a stroller beside them.
