Justin Bieber just went live on his very own Twitch channel for the first time, promising fans they can expect new streams “pretty much every day” moving forward.
31-year-old Bieber is branching out with a new form of entertainment. While not recording new music or modelling for fashion brands, the pop star appears to be committed to live streaming.
Bieber debuted his livestream on October 22, broadcasting for a little over an hour. Throughout, he toured a warehouse full of games to play and activities to enjoy, be it table tennis or shooting hoops.
In just 65 minutes of stream time, he’s already accrued over 35,000 followers on Twitch, with avid fans clearly eating it up. Though as he declared during the broadcast, it’s only the start of what he has planned.
Justin Bieber is now a full-time streamer?
In the midst of giving fans a tour of his facility, Bieber peeled back the curtain somewhat to showcase his production crew. Numbering in the double digits, the musician has banded together a proper team to produce his livestreams.
Thus, it’s a legitimate broadcast, as opposed to a vast majority of streams with just one person running the show.
Evidently, he hasn’t gone to all this effort for a one-off. “We’re gonna be doing this pretty much every day, so make sure you tune in,” Bieber told thousands of fans who were tuned in live.
There’s no quite telling what else Bieber may have in store or whether this daily stream will just be a way for him and his friends to blow off a little steam. What we do know is that the celeb is no stranger to the space.
