Justin Bieber has revealed that he purposefully delayed the start of concerts just so he and his team could finish their games of ping pong. Seriously.

Whenever you attend a concert, the first thrilling moment of the night is when the lights go down and the show gets ready to start. Some artists have made that a performance in itself, teasing fans with numerous false starts and intro videos. When they eventually hit the stage, though, that’s when things really get going.

However, the delays aren’t always intentional. There might be a last-minute tech issue, a late toilet break is needed, or something is just out of place. You might never know.

In Justin Bieber’s case, though, the start of his concerts have been delayed in the past because he’s been deep into a game of ping pong. Seriously.

The Canadian superstar, who has recently begun streaming on Twitch, has been spilling a number of secrets during his livestreams – including frantic ping pong games.

“A lot of late nights in the studio with a ping pong table. We had one, also, on tour,” he said, walking around the table tennis setup in his streaming facility after finishing a game.

“We’d literally push back the show to keep playing ping pong at times because we just got so into it.”

As noted, Bieber has been a little more open about life and music during his Twitch streams, admitting to feeling “vulnerable” about going live because of the hate he’s received at times.

“Going on Twitch is vulnerable as hell, because people who feel sh*tty about themselves project and write mean ass things,” he said in late October.

The musician stated that he would be live every day, but hasn’t fulfilled that promise yet, taking a few days off at the start of November.
