Kai Cenat’s Twitch hiatus could soon be coming to an end, as he agreed to hop on and game with fellow AMP member Fanum.
When his third and final Mafiathon ended in September, Kai Cenat disappeared from Twitch. Despite having 1 million active subscribers at one point, he decided to take a break and stopped appearing on regular streams.
The AMP star eventually surfaced in Europe when he was photographed by fans enjoying a holiday. Yet, he returned to the internet himself with a now not-so-secret YouTube channel – Kai’s Mind – where he also unveiled his new passion project, the Vivet fashion brand.
Kai still hasn’t appeared on anyone’s broadcasts since taking his break from Twitch, and there had even been rumors of him retiring from creating content altogether. However, that could soon come to an end.
Kai Cenat hints at returning to Twitch for AMP stream
During his February 25 stream, Fanum revealed plans to get all of the AMP members together for a game night during a 24-hour-long stream. That piqued Kai’s interest.
“Set up a night, and I’ll play,” Kai was seen commenting in Fanum’s chat. “Hop on Fall Guys.”
Fanum was taken aback seeing Kai’s messages, suggesting he was “trolling him” by commenting. “Don’t do that, gang. Y’all heard here first, gang, because I’m trying to plan a 24-hour AMP stream. Say less, imma set up a night. You’re going to come in, in your (on-stream) box, that’s all you gotta do.”
The AMP star did not give a concrete date for when it might happen, but it’d likely be sooner rather than later.
Despite Kai’s continued absence from Twitch, he’s still been making a pretty penny from the platform. As per stats from TwitchTracker, Kai had around 40,000 subscribers in early February, which would have netted him at least $163,527 for January.
