Kai Cenat is calling out Twitch CEO Dan Clancy over removing him from his streamer Mount Rushmore, and leaked footage of the altercation.
Back in October, Dan Clancy appeared on Kai Cenat’s Mafiathon 3 stream to congratulate him on reaching one million subscribers. During their conversation, Cenat asked Clancy to name who would be on his “streamer Mount Rushmore.” Clancy named Kai, Ninja, Pokimane, and briefly mentioned IShowSpeed before replacing him with CohnCarnage.
However, in a later stream with Mizkif, Clancy went back on his decision to put Kai on the list, claiming he put Cenat on there because “he asked.”
“It probably should be more historical,” Clancy said weeks later. “In other words, Kai is big now but, he asked me, so I had to put him on there, but arguably it’s like ‘you’re great, but you can’t be on the Mount Rushmore yet.’”
This revelation definitely left Kai a bit upset as the streamer revealed footage of an interaction with Clancy after his Mount Rushmore comments with the caption “no accountability.”
In the video, Clancy approached Kai and immediately told him, “I guarantee you it was edited,” referring to clips from Mizkif’s stream.
Clancy argued that for Miz and others, being an OG long-time streamer is more important, but Kai disagreed, remarking how Clancy said he only put him on the list because they were in front of each other.
“You said to Miz, the only reason you put me on your Mount Rushmore is because you were in front of me,” Cenat shot back.
The Twitch CEO admitted that he did say that, but defended his comments as just “talk” between him and Mizkif.
After being posted on January 14, the video of the altercation went viral and resulted in one of Kick’s bosses, Andrew Santamaria chiming in, seemingly trying to convince Kai to leave Twitch and join the rival green platform.
“Say when. No dancing here sir. Time to get treated like an adult. Love that you pressed,” he said.

Mizkif also responded to the video, but defended Dan Clancy while simultaneously taking aim at “clipping culture” for distorting facts.
“What Kai saw was an edited version of what happened on my stream. This is prime example of how clipping culture has ruined streaming. Dan praised Kai as one of the greatest of all time and someone took that, and made it look like something else,” Miz blasted.
“Brother can read 20 minutes of a book but not watch a vod for 3 minutes,” he slammed, referencing Kai’s newfound commitment to reading.
