Kai Cenat has resurfaced amid his break from Twitch following his record-breaking Mafiathon 3, but he wasn’t exactly truthful with an interviewer.
Throughout September, Kai Cenat hosted his third and final Mafiathon on Twitch. The AMP Star had one target in mind – finally eclipsing over 1 million subscribers, a record that is very likely to never be touched on the Amazon-owned platform.
After 30 days of non-stop streaming, Kai has taken a break from streaming. This isn’t usual as the Twitch star regularly goes on hiatus after big broadcasts.
He has, however, popped up in Switzerland, of all places, taking part in a pretty public interview with a broadcaster to celebrate Zurich Fashion Week. Though, Kai wasn’t exactly forthcoming with the truth about who he was.
Kai Cenat goes incognito for interview in Switzerland
The Twitch star and his girlfriend, Gigi, were quizzed by Zurich’s 20 Minuten about their time in Zurich, but introduced themselves as “Jamal and Mary.”
From there, Kai said that they were from Arkansas and spent their days being Forex Traders. “Pokemon Cards. Very, very, very valuable,” Kai also said when asked about his day job.
“Two people just going to Switzerland and trying to enjoy the environment,” the Twitch star added before saying that he was mostly enjoying the shopping.
The clip has already done the rounds on social media, with Kai’s fans being pretty entertained by it.
“Jamal and Mary. They definitely didn’t want to be bothered,” one said. “Kai out here living the spy life. Forex Traders cover is too funny,” another added. “Kai wearing his best incognito fit,” another said.
The interview, David Banc, posted on his Instagram that he was aware of the pair’s trolling, but was still pretty pumped to have met them.
“OMG! Just had an interview with Kai Cenat,” he said before telling one commenter that he knew he name wasn’t actually Jamal.
