Not only is Kai Cenat making bank during his record-breaking Mafiathon 3 event, but it turns out that so too is one of his Twitch moderators.
Cenat has been streaming nonstop throughout the month of September. With each day, new celebrity guests appear, motivational speeches are thrown down, and subscribers continue to pile up.
Not only has the mega-popular internet celeb soared past the previous Twitch subscriber count record – a record he set in 2024 – but he’s also become the first to pass a million concurrent subscribers.
Along the way, as hundreds of thousands tuned in live, even clearing a million concurrent viewers when LeBron James appeared, Cenat hasn’t been the only one benefiting. It turns out one particular moderator for Cenat has been raking in the subs as well.
Kai Cenat’s Twitch mod cracks Top 100 most-subbed accounts
27-year-old FeelsSunnyMan has been livestreaming on his own account during the Mafiathon 3 event. Here, viewers get a look at what goes into moderating for one of the year’s biggest events on Twitch.
Keeping an eye on the endless stream of comments whizzing past the screen through Twitch Chat, this mod has personally been responsible for banning over 1,000 pesky accounts during Cenat’s subathon.
For livestreaming his own efforts, the mod has been rewarded in kind. Fans from Cenat’s stream have filtered over, sharing their generosity with the mod who claims he doesn’t “get paid” for his work.
FeelsSunnyMan now has over 11,000 Twitch subs on his own channel. If we assume they’re full-price subs, that means he’s earned over $50,000 USD for the month.
While they’ve blown up in their own right for moderating during the Mafiathon event, they also mod for a litany of other massively popular channels.
From Duke to plaqueboymax, DDG, Cinna, and hundreds more, they’re well across the spectrum of Twitch stars. They’re even listed as a VIP in both xQc and IShowSpeed’s streams too, so he’s certainly a sought-after moderator in the space.
