KFC Thailand marked Fried Chicken Day on July 6, 2025, with a playful promotion encouraging customers to bring chicken-themed items to select restaurants in exchange for free fried chicken.
The event, called ‘Release a Chicken, Get Free Chicken,’ took place at KFC Central Westgate, Central Phitsanulok, and Robinson Lifestyle Prachinburi.
Fans showed up with everything from chicken squeeze toys to chicken-patterned rice sacks. Some participants even qualified simply because their names started with the Thai consonant ‘Kor Kai,’ which means chicken.

To take part, customers needed to purchase at least one menu item containing chicken and present their chicken-themed item to staff. The offer was limited to the first 200 participants at each location.
KFC Thailand said the event was designed to tap into the creativity of Thai consumers while creating memorable brand experiences. The campaign also sparked strong engagement across social media platforms.
Suhayl Limbada, chief marketing officer at KFC Thailand, said the activity exceeded expectations: “We are delighted to see fans unleash their inner chicken spirit in creative ways. We promise to continue developing fun campaigns like this to deliver experiences that go beyond just delicious food.”
