Kick streamer Sam Pepper has been banned on the platform after a wild fireworks battle in India resulted in a young girl needing medical attention.
Pepper and his friends were visiting New Delhi, India, for the Diwali festival and started firing Roman candles (a type of firework) at each other.
It wasn’t long before locals reportedly joined in on the action, firing their own fireworks back at the Kick streamers. However, things took a dangerous turn when Pepper returned fire and hit a young girl in the face.
“Oh my God!” the influencer exclaimed in delight as someone else nearby shouted “headshot!”
After a local told Pepper that a girl was rushed to the hospital and that her “eye is gone,” the British streamer explained that it was an accident, but the damage had been done.
Following the incident, the streamer was banned on both ‘Pump.fun’ and Kick, and it appears his time on the Stake-owned website is completely over.

According to Decrypt, Pepper would later find out that the girl received stitches and was released from the hospital, and that she had never actually lost an eye.
“I had a friend go and make sure they were okay, and called the family. And [I] apologized and made sure to give them some compensation for the situation and the hospital fees,” he told the publication, adding that he won’t play with fireworks again.
“The family don’t speak English, so I briefly said sorry, but that’s it. [I] was too embarrassed to bother them more than that,” he said.
In a follow-up post on his Discord, Pepper claimed he was never coming back to Kick and wouldn’t be posting any info about the girl he had hit.
The influencer explained that he wasn’t going to upset the girl’s family more by asking them to take a photo of her and share it online. “It’s beyond disrespectful for me to intrude anymore. I’ve apologized to them and made sure they had everything they wanted, and will leave them be.”
This isn’t the only time the streamer has caused controversy. In 2015, Pepper uploaded a YouTube video titled “Killing Best Friend Prank”, featuring fellow creators Sam Golbach and Colby Brock. Pepper, donning a mask, pretended to kidnap Golback and Brock, taking them to a rooftop before forcing Golbach to watch Brock be “shot.”
Golbach was left in tears, screaming in distress and visibly shaken before Brock got up and revealed his “death” was a prank. While it was eventually revealed that the entire prank was scripted, viewers were disgusted and a petition demanded that YouTube remove Pepper’s channel gained over 100,000 signatures.
Aside from Pepper, Kick has had numerous wild incidents involving streamers visiting foreign countries.
