Kick Streamer ‘XenaTheWitch’ has come under fire after spraying rounds from a paintball gun and shooting an innocent, unprotected bystander in the process.
Numerous Kick streamers have been engaged in an IRL scavenger hunt this month, hosted by the highly controversial Ice Poseidon. Streamers have been zooming across North America to compete for the $30,000 prize.
XenaTheWitch has been one such streamer, though her actions during an August 9 broadcast have landed her in hot water. As circulated across social media, Xena can be seen inflicting harm on an innocent bystander.
From her own perspective, we hear multiple rounds of a paintball gun being fired out at a nearby lake. One of those rounds just so happened to hit the thigh of a stranger nearby.
Kick streamer fires paintball gun at stranger
As seen from fellow streamer BennyMack’s perspective, one of Xena’s shots hit an innocent bystander not involved with the competition. The woman was hit in her left thigh.
Notably, she had no protective clothing on whatsoever. Given the impact of even just one paintball, thicker clothing and protective gear is typically required when recreationally using paintball guns. Most important are helmets and goggles to shield your eyes.
“Yeah, she f***ing shot me,” the woman said. It was one of them girls,” the woman said before requesting not to be filmed. While she assured she was fine, others nearby urged her to call the police.
“That’s a real worker you almost shot at,” another streamer said to Xena in the moment. “I don’t give a f***,” Xena responded.
The Kick streamer previously made headlines for the wrong reasons, having gone viral for an altercation with an Uber driver, wherein, their cameraman smashed the driver’s phone.
There’s been plenty of backlash to the latest incident, with many labelling it “assault,” and calling for charges to be pressed.
“That is f***ing disgusting,” one Reddit user said. “Report it to the police.”
“Wasn’t an accident,” another chimed in on X. “She shot at the group, without checking, “thinking” the girl was part of the streamers she was trying to sabotage in the scavenger hunt. The girl was just a random kayaker.”
