LEGO Harry Potter: Hogsmeade Village - Collector’s Edition
Available September 1 for Insiders, September 4 for everyone else. The set depicts the idyllic village in wintertime, with snow on the ground and the roofs of the buildings, which also feature cozily crooked chimneys. Seven buildings are included (some of which are quite narrow), making an impressive street scene. According to the official description, you get “Honeydukes sweet shop, the Owl Post, The Three Broomsticks pub, Dervish and Banges, and Scrivenshaft’s Quill Shop, plus the first-ever LEGO builds of Zonko’s Joke Shop and the Hog’s Head pub.”
You also get 12 minifigures, including the main trio of Harry, Hermione, and Ron, plus folks like Aberforth Dumbledore, Mrs. Flume, Madam Rosmerta, Draco Malfoy, Professor McGonagall, Cornelius Fudge, and Horace Slughorn. And a horse and carriage. It’s a lot!
The set comes with a full-color instruction manual for how to put it together (as do all sets). But as an alternative, you can also use the LEGO Builder app to see the instructions in full 3D. This lets you zoom in and rotate the model as you put it together. Sometimes the instruction booklet’s 2D nature makes it hard to tell exactly where to put certain pieces. It’s good to have a digital, interactive backup.
Of all the fanbases, the Potterverse is among the best served in terms of LEGO sets. There are a ton of LEGO Harry Potter sets available, with new ones landing nearly every month. There’s even a massive modular LEGO Hogwarts Castle that’s comprised of individual sets that have come out across several years and is still in progress. The 2025 LEGO Advent Calendars are also coming in September, and as usual, there's a Harry Potter one available for preorder now.
As mentioned above, LEGO is rolling this set out in two phases. On September 1, LEGO Insiders will be able to buy it (you can sign up here for free). Then on September 4 it will be available to anyone. LEGO Store-exclusive sets often come out in that kind of staggered release, so if you’re a fan of LEGO there’s no reason not to sign up. Signing up gets you special access to certain sales, early access to certain sets, and a whole reward points system that can get you free or discounted sets.
