The 2x LEGO Insider points promotion applies to all sets on the LEGO Store, including preorders. That means if you buy the massive new Death Star set, for instance, you’ll get a whopping 13,000 Insider points rather than the (still whopping!) 6,500 points you’d normally get (see it at LEGO Store). But perhaps you don’t have a spare $999.99 burning a hole in your wallet. If you preorder the awesome-looking, just-announced LEGO Back to the Future Time Machine set coming January 1 (see it at LEGO Store), you’ll get 364 Insider points rather than 182.

You can find all the current LEGO Insider Rewards here – but it’s worth mentioning that they change pretty often. So if you don’t see anything you want on there now, you can wait and see if something appealing arrives later. Alternatively, if you buy another set at the LEGO Store, you can exchange your Insider points for a discount at checkout.

To see how many points you’ll get for any given set during the 2x promotion (or anytime, really), just scroll down on the listing. The point values are listed beneath the “Gifts with Purchase” section. While the promotion is running, you’ll see the usual number of Insider points crossed out, with the 2x amount next to it.

Speaking of Gifts with Purchase (or GWPs as LEGO connoisseurs are known to call them), the LEGO Store has a new one available now with purchases over $150. It’s the Northern Lights Diorama (see it at LEGO Store). It’s valued at $19.99 and is only available as a GWP between now and October 20, while supplies last.

LEGO has been killing it lately with new releases and announcements. The LEGO Back to the Future Time Machine set, coming January 1, has been a huge hit with IGN readers. LEGO also announced four upcoming sets based on LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight; each set comes with a code that unlocks a gold skin for Batman or the various Batmobiles. Finally, plenty of new LEGO sets for October 2025 have been released, including the most expensive set ever made: the Death Star.
