Fitness influencer Brian Johnson, better known as ‘Liver King,’ has addressed his arrest for making ‘a terroristic threat’ against Joe Rogan.
On June 24, the 47-year-old fitness influencer was arrested by the Austin Police Department after posting a series of threatening videos about Rogan on his Instagram account.
He was detained by the police department, who had contacted Rogan about the threats. The podcast host “stated he had never had any interaction with Johnson and considered the posts to be threatening.”
Liver King was released by the police after being held, with his bond being set at $20,000, and Johnson also ordered to not contact and stay 200 yards away from the alleged victim and family members.
Liver King makes Instagram video about Joe Rogan arrest
Since his release, the fitness influencer has continued posting on Instagram about Rogan and the arrest.
“How does Liver King get ready for a fight? Blue Scorpion. Some guy, he thought if you just put him in jail, have the violent crimes division, have them come arrest him for a terroristic threat, and the whole time you thought that terroristic threat was a bomb or something? But that box was actually a present back for you and your Mothership colleagues,” Johnson said in his first video
“So the terroristic threat, that was reduced… I don’t want to say any details, nor any names, but that’s how you get ready for a fight.”
Liver King added that the videos “will never stop” but “no laws will be broken,” referring to the “restraining order” he is now under.
In that same clip, he can be seen wearing a hoodie seemingly promoting a clash between himself and Rogan too, with the podcaster’s logo being used.
However, in a follow-up video, Johnson noted that he is set to make a “bunch of videos” in the coming week before taking a break.
