Logan Paul has revealed that he was in a bidding war with Drake over the most expensive Bob Ross painting to go up for auction.
Bob Ross is arguably the internet’s most-loved artist. Plenty of people can recall their childhood, growing up, and watching him paint his little happy trees all over the canvas. It spawned a new life thanks to Twitch, too, when the streaming service had a 24/7 Bob Ross marathon. He’s even appeared in Fortnite.
Over the years, a number of Ross’ paintings have gone up for sale at auction. That includes one under the Goldin banner back in late 2024.
The painting, which wasn’t even painted for the TV show, sold for just over $93,000. The buyer remained secret until May 2025, when Canadian rapper Drake revealed himself as having won the auction. However, Logan Paul was on the other side.
Drake beat Logan to Bob Ross painting
During the January 13 episode of imPAULSIVE, Logan spoke to Ken Goldin about some of the biggest collectibles, with Goldin revealing that he knew the two were in a bidding war for the painting.
“He outbid me on a Bob Ross,” Logan said when Goldin brought Drake up as one of his biggest buyers. “I like bidding when I’m a little tipsy. I’m bidding on this Bob Ross and someone outbid me. It was well above the estimate. It was the highest Bob Ross ever.
“I’m like, who the f*ck could this be? Are you like behind the scenes like ‘it’s Drake and Logan bidding against each other?”
Goldin answered: “I’m like dying, yes. Of course, I see and I’m like ‘oh s*it, I wish I could call one of them and say’. So, Drake won that.”

The pair also touched on Logan selling his Pikachu Illustrator card with Goldin, which the YouTuber had initially bought for $5.3 million.
Logan revealed that he finally agreed to sell it with Goldin after spending “an irresponsible amount of money” on his wedding.
