Internet star and Grammy-nominated music artist Madison Beer is urging the developers behind Fortnite to stop making so many changes to the game and give her an Icon skin.
Fortnite has become a pop culture staple in the nine years since it first released. These days, you can find nearly every character from most major video game franchises, Hollywood films, or TV series in the game, as well as a number of top celebrities and influencers.
It’s become somewhat of a rite of passage for IPs and celebs to get included in the battle royale. You know you’ve made it when you have your own ‘Icon’ skin in Fortnite — just ask Sabrina Carpenter, IShowSpeed, or the Rock, to name a few.
However, one celeb and longtime fan of the game who hasn’t gotten an Icon skin is urging Fortnite’s developers to get in touch with her after years of playing.
Madison Beer begs Epic Games for her own Fortnite Icon skin
Madison Beer isn’t just an award-winning singer-songwriter; she’s also an avid gamer, and even has her own Twitch channel where she plays titles like Fall Guys and Fortnite to an audience of over 730K followers.
She addressed the topic during a February 12 appearance on Hot Ones, where host Sean Evans asked her about her preference between Fall Guys, Outlast, or Dress to Impress in a classic game of ‘F**k, Marry, Kill.’
Beer replaced Outlast with Fortnite, saying she’d “marry” the game out of her other three options, but had some strong words for the devs at Epic Games.
“I love Fortnite,” she said. “They’ve changed it too much now, though. I’m a bit upset with you, Epic Games. Let’s speak really quickly, let’s get serious. Stop changing things that we love about Fortnite. Keep it original and give me a skin, please!”

Fans are also begging Epic to consider Beer for the next Fortnite Icon skin, following Chappell Roan’s viral introduction to the game earlier in February.
