Fortnite is lining up another unexpected crossover, with leaks revealing that the iconic VTuber Kizuna AI is coming to the battle royale.
The leak has revealed that a Kizuna AI VTuber ICON Skin will be released, alongside collabs with Regular Show and Adventure Time.
Debuting in 2016, Kizuna AI is widely regarded as one of the first major VTubers who helped shape the virtual influencer boom.
Her mix of gaming videos, variety content, and music turned her into a global name long before VTubers became mainstream, influencing countless creators across Japan and overseas. So, having her own Fortnite skin will certainly be befitting for the virtual idol.
Kizuna AI skin coming to Fortnite
While there’s no release date for the Kizuna AI skin, it would mark Fortnite’s first major VTuber crossover and could open up more potential collabs with other popular names in the future.
Fortnite has steadily expanded its anime collaborations in recent years, with crossovers spanning Hatsune Miku, Bleach, Attack on Titan, and My Hero Academia. Despite the details being scarce, we do know that Epic is rolling out its South Park crossover on January 9.
The update introduces new loot, the Cartmanland point of interest, and a new Quints five-player playlist set on the Golden Coast. Players can also unlock South Park cosmetics through the free Born in Chaos Pass, with Stan, Kyle, Cartman, Kenny, and Butters expected to appear in the Item Shop.
For now, players will have to wait and see if the Kizuna AI collaboration will be revealed alongside this update or in a future patch.
