Manga Plus is offering fans a unique opportunity to pick their favorite pages, and have them printed onto officially licensed t-shirts.
Manga Plus is the official manga reading service from Shueisha that’s available both online and via app.
The platform features translated versions of new chapters from serialized titles in Weekly Shōnen Jump, as well as from a variety of other sources.
That manga library includes series like One Piece, Jujutsu Kaisen, Sakamoto Days, Bleach, Demon Slayer, My Hero Academia, and Naruto, all of which can now be worn…
Your favourite manga pages can now be turned into t-shirts
Manga Plus by Shueisha has launched a new feature that allows fans to create officially printed t-shirts using selected manga pages on the service. Here’s the official statement, explaining how it works:
“Users can select a manga page directly on the platform from any language and create a custom t-shirt featuring that page. The designs are printed in Japan and will be the original Japanese artwork and text, offering fans a new way to enjoy manga beyond the screen.
“The printed Japanese version is the very first version published. This means they’re the magazine version if they’re a Weekly Shonen Jump titles such as One Piece and Sakamoto Days. These magazine versions may include promotional text or differ slightly from the translated versions.”
T-shirts are available in sizes ranging from Small to XXXL, and come in a choice of four colors – white, black, navy, and grey.
The feature supports more than 270 manga titles, though not everything is available, as the press release states: “Page selection is limited to eligible pages within supported titles and chapters. Certain titles, chapters, and pages may not be selectable. Selectable pages are marked with a ‘Create’ icon in the bottom right.”
The service is now available outside Japan, China, and Korea on both the app and web, with t-shirt price listed as $39.99, plus shipping and applicable fees depending on country/region.
