Supersized “Forever Roll” toilet paper is officially hitting store shelves across the U.S. after initially being available as an online-only order.
The roll features 1,700 sheets – around 30 times more than a standard roll – and is designed to last up to a month depending on usage, according to Charmin, the manufacturer.
First introduced online in 2019, the oversized toiletry is now making a full retail debut, expanding beyond its early test market aimed at smaller households and apartments.
A household upgrade
Charmin says the idea came from customer frustration over constantly replacing empty rolls, with surveys showing more than 80% of people list it among their top bathroom annoyances. The company claims the Forever Roll can stretch as high as the Washington Monument when fully unspooled.
To accommodate the extra bulk, Charmin is offering an optional stainless-steel stand built specifically for the oversized roll, intended to be available through Target, Walmart, and other stores.
