McDonald’s is finally bringing its Big Arch burger to the United States after months of international testing, with the oversized menu item set to launch nationwide for a limited time starting March 3.

The burger initially launched in Canada and Portugal, and made its way to the United Kingdom before briefly being offered on the menu at McDonald’s Chicago headquarters back in September 2025, giving fans an early look at what the chain describes as one of its biggest burgers yet.

According to details shared by McDonald’s, the Big Arch is positioned as a premium option built around larger portions and new flavor combinations compared to standard menu burgers.

“THE NEW BIG ARCH IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU MAKE A MCDONALD’S BURGER IN ALL CAPS. OUT 3.3,” they said in a post on X.

The Big Arch burger features two quarter-pound beef patties, three slices of white cheddar cheese, lettuce, pickles, and a mix of crispy and slivered onions served on a toasted bun topped with sesame and poppy seeds.

McDonald’s is also introducing a new “Big Arch Sauce,” described as a creamy sauce balancing mustard, pickle, and sweet tomato flavors.

The company says the burger will be available at participating restaurants across the US for a limited time beginning March 3.

Dexerto reviewed the Big Arch during its testing phase in Canada and praised it for being “truly ‘McDonald’s’ to its core and delivering with its uniquely yummy taste.”
